As a successful member of our dynamic team, you will prospect, close, manage, and up sell accounts for our tradeshow portfolios which will include exhibit/booth sales, onsite sponsorships and digital advertisements via websites, email campaigns, and similar online media. As you build enduring relationships with clients, with a strong emphasis on repeat business and customer service, your proactive approach will guide you to success. You will also learn to position the value of our events, contact clients about opportunities, present solutions in a client-centric consultative manner, successfully overcome objections, and change tactics on-demand as necessary. Your highly organized nature and drive will push you to exceed minimum key performance indicators (KPIs) for outbound telephone prospecting and external client meetings. You will utilize your top-notch communication skills to drive outbound client contact via telesales and e-mail communications. You must be able to “think on your feet” and absorb new concepts quickly. You’ll be tasked to rapidly grasp full intelligence of an industry vertical by quickly understanding its drivers, sub sectors, key stakeholders, challenges, solutions and trends. Your ability to be highly organized and results-oriented will also be relied upon as you create sales plans, forecast, report, and administer contracts, develop an acute understanding and general awareness of core brand and the market, and gain market intelligence by developing a close working relationship with clients. While not required, previous experience in media and advertising sales, services or other intangible products will allow you to hit the ground running. This role involves some travel to events and to gain leads and develop strategies at competitive shows.
