We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical family member to join our finance team in our corporate office in the Lower East Side. Corporate Accounting is an important position within our Finance Team. This individual will be a key partner in the implementation of our new ERP system and upgrading our Global Accounting and Finance processes. This role will be a key member of the monthly close process, analysis, and consolidated global financial reporting. This position will report to the Senior Accountant and will work closely with all members of the finance team in USA and Europe, as well as other members of the MOSCOT Management team. There is opportunity for growth as we expand globally and enhance our financial systems.



Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient payments.
Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

To successfully perform the responsibilities of this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Excellent administrative writing and data entry skills.
Outstanding communication and organization skills.
Attention to detail
Experience with financial software systems. SAP B1 is a plus.
Proven success and experience in analyzing information, reporting research results, and general math skills.
