DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet with retail buyers to present product on continuous basis and sell to achieve set budgets for each account. Interfaces with buyer for successful order execution. Assist in building and developing financial budgets by categoy, by account in partnership with the Planning Dept to ensure gross margin and door plan goals are achieved. Understanding the chargebacks process of each account. Research and establish action points to reduce them. Pre-meeting preparation with those involved to strategize and organize. Create meeting agendas and meeting recaps. Understand competitors strengths and weaknesses. Assist in Inventory management move available items to sell. Travel to accounts and trade shows Make sure sales information is accurate on the system SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Must possess excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills Ability to manage accounts independently Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Advanced knowledge of retail math Strong presentation skills Ability to prioritize and multitask PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Domestic travel required 10-40% of the time and on occasion lift up to 70 lb sample cases MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Merchandising, Business or related field 2-5 years experience in sales and/or retail buying experience; experience in managing multiple accounts
