AuditorTracking Code20120105Job DescriptionEmigrant Bank is currently looking for a candidate to join their internal Auditing department.The primary functions of the position are to develop a thorough understanding of the operation of the area subject to audit, to plan and design an audit program identifying key risks and controls and to conduct an audit evaluating controls, identifying weaknesses and documenting same in work papers. Additional responsibilities include communicating results to management, effectively managing the completion of the audit and performing special projects as required. Candidate must possess strong reasoning and analytical skills, good interpersonal and communications skills and excellent computer skills and knowledge of audit software. A strong knowledge of auditing in at least two of the following businesses is also required Capital Markets, Commercial Lending, Mortgage Banking or Private Banking. The primary location for this position is in midtown New York City corporate office; some travel to Westchester County is required.
