Are you an accounting graduate with an energetic personality? Do you have some bookkeeping work experience? Are you motivated, detail-oriented and looking for an opportunity to perform office services?

We are a midtown Manhattan based, middle market private equity firm with a 25+ year history seeking an experienced and educated individual for bookkeeping and administrative support duties. We are an entrepreniural 18 person firm that encourages and allows indivdiuals to take on increasing responsibilities in a small office environment.

To perform a range of administrative and accounting functions using sound judgment, outstanding detail orientation, and exceptional organizational skills to assist all senior team members.

Responsibilities include:
Greet clients and ensure calls are answered in a timely manner, process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices and payments, enter basic monthly journal entries, maintain and improve filing system, reconcile monthly bank statements and intercompany accounts, maintain SalesForce database, assist with Investor Relations function. Other duties as required.

Accounting diploma, bookkeeping and office experience (working knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred), a welcoming personality, strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills in Microsoft Office: including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
