An alternative asset management firm is looking for a finance professional to join the BP&A team to work the firm's Credit business. This professional will be responsible for daily interaction with the Credit management and development team.

Job Description

The BP&A Credit Financial Professional is responsible for:

• Coordinating the annual budget process and quarterly forecast updates for the Credit business

• Supporting the preparation and analysis of monthly management reports and other analytics

• Working closely with the GL team to ensure accurate booking of revenues and expenses

• Working with fund controllers on overall fund budgets, returns and performance

• Producing high quality, timely and insightful information to help senior management manage the firm and set direction

• Responding in a timely manner to all ad hoc questions and requests for information

• Prepare financial models for new and existing strategies/investment products.

• Identify and investigate balance sheet and income statement variances

• Analyze variances, trends, risks and opportunities, performance against budget/forecast/targets, key business drivers and sensitivities

• Maintenance of management reporting structures, new cost centers/departments and accounts

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience

• BA in Accounting and/or Finance

• Experience with Budgeting/Forecasting/Planning, and a Financial Analysis

• Strong excel skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Detail oriented

Desired Skills

• Essbase experience
