C++ Developer-Financial - Pathfinders Staffing (New York, NY)

Exciting permanent position (sorry, no visa transfers for those needing that service) at financial firm with an appetite for innovation. Base to 130k-135k plus strong bonus expected.---Target comp 160k hands-on development in large-scale, transactional based, mission critical environment. - Experience with the development of large and complex client-server or thin-client applications. - Software development experience in the trading, brokerage, or financial services industries. - An ability to work as part of a small team with daily instruction from manager. - Server side and user interface development experience. - A minimum of 5 years C++ or Visual C++ experience in a Microsoft Windows development environment, utilizing object oriented programming techniques. Visual C++ is preferred. (not REQUIRED) - A minimum of 3 years of database design and development utilizing SQL and relational database techniques. Microsoft SQL Server is preferred. - Requisite experience with software configuration management tools. - - Experience with concurrent programming in a multi-thread environment is preferred.
