(NYSE: JPM), a global financial services firm with assets of $2.0 trillion.The objective of the Chief Investment Office (CIO) is to manage the Firm's risk through involvement with various market sectors and currencies. Risks managed by the CIO include structural interest rate and foreign exchange risk. Products utilized include fixed income securities, interest rate swaps, options, futures and forwards, credit related products, foreign exchange contracts, and equity-related products. Role DescriptionThe primary role of the candidate will be related to investment securities and quarterly regulatory reporting within Chief Investment Office. The role will provide the candidate with exposure to a range of fixed income and derivative products including mortgage backed securities and interest rate swaps. This role will require the candidate to work closely with the Global Control Team within CIO, CIO middle and back offices, and various corporate reporting teams.Key Responsibilities :* Contribute to quarterly/annual regulatory reporting submissions for the 10Q/10K relating to CIO North America* Gather and analyze total investment security data for all monthly submissions* Responsible for monthly liquidity collateral reporting* Complete general ledger substantiation process for Available For Sale and Trading accounts* Prepare monthly profit and loss estimate versus actual for the month-end process* Participate in ad-hoc projects such as system conversions, and other analytical projectsQualifications:The essential skills required for this position are:* Basic understanding of mortgage, assets backed securities, and interest rate swaps* General understanding and some experience in financial accounting and finance* Highly skilled at problem solving, with a logical and tenacious approach* Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude* Proficiency in MS Excel / Access.* Knowledge of Bloomberg functionality and querying capabilities* Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills as considerable flexibility is required for the roleJPMorgan Chase & Co. offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.JPMorgan Chase & Co. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, M/F/D/VJob: Accounting/Finance/Audit/Risk
