Enterprising Co-Founder - Cross Global Capital (New York, NY)

Job Description Currently, we are sponsoring the development of a company that will provide leading financial services to the US Hispanic population in a for profit model. The Firm is assembling a best in class management team to design, structure and execute a leading financial services company to successfully penetrate this market. At the core of the initiatives will be the identification of the root causes of the problems facing this community as it pertains to financial services and implementing creative solutions. The Hispanic Financial Services market is heterogeneous; however, on the whole, Hispanics demand financial services at rates equal to or higher than the general population. There are many different variables impacting financial services decisions and whether clients are un/underbanked and employing alternative financial services. The Hispanic market in the United States constitutes approximately 40 million individuals with an annual purchasing power of approximately $800 billion per year of which financial services accounts for a significant amount of the spend. Incumbent financial institutions have been trying to make inroads into the market but have not proven successful as a result of a number of limiting factors. Furthermore, there are opportunities to address both the retail and business segment as there are over 2.3 million Hispanic owned businesses. We are looking to assemble a diverse team of Founding Partners who can contribute creative solutions to the challenges presented in delivering best in class financial products/services to this segment. Impact on Humanity believes strongly in the cross pollination of ideas and successes from a number of unrelated industries to the current challenge and looks to have a team with varying experiences and skillset. The collective efforts of the Founding Partners will encompass financial services, marketing, distribution, Hispanic consumer knowledge, programming/coding, etc. Each Founding Partner will be granted a significant equity stake in the initiatives. Qualifications Responsibilities of the Founding Partners Responsibilities will be customized to the strengths and capabilities of the underlying Founding Partner but all must be willing to work across functions, assignments, verticals and be squarely focused on the accomplishments/success of the Firm. Ability to work on a team with best in class senior executives is key. Ability to accept pushback, critique, and challenges and operate in a no ego environment is central to this role. Qualifications * Entrepreneurial mindset and significant interest in working in a startup environment with a small team and high energy; * Must be willing to accept difficult challenges in a high pressure environment with limited underlying resources; * Be comfortable taking ownership of the Firm and working to define the Firm, its mission and executing implementation in a condensed time-frame; * Strong strategic mindset with ability to successfully execute and solve problems by getting to their root cause; * Passionate about serving the US Hispanic community and providing constituents best in class financial services products. Also passionate about being innovative and coming up with new, unconventional solutions; * Should be able to address how previous work experience will be instrumental in contributing to the success of the initiatives and will contribute to providing financial services to the Hispanic community; * Preferably based in NYC but will be geographically agnostic for outstanding candidates; * Excited about working very hard and creating a company that will bring significant economic, professional and social returns; * High ethical standards and strong sense of humor; * Spanish language ability is preferred but not required Required experience: 0 - 2 years Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree Job category: Accounting, Insurance & Finance;Production & Operations;Marketing & Product
