Finance Internship - Spring 2013 The Internship Program is ideal for anyone interested in gaining valuable experience related to the music industry. We provide hands on experience in a fast-paced and exciting environment. The program allows part-time interns a chance to work in a progressive and creative atmosphere while gaining the experience that will benefit your future career in finance. Finance Intern: Primary responsibilities include: - Assisting the EVP of Finance with a wide variety of tasks, including: Financial analyses of current and projected budgets Reconciling ledgers and credit card statements to specific project budgets - Assisting in creating presentations and financial analyses for owners/partners, as well as current and potential investors - Assisting the staff with day-to-day administrative tasks Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting majors. Other requirements include: General office management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Internet and social media savvy Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and e-communication skills Ability to work independently and with teams Willingness to take on a full range of tasks Part-time interns work in the office approximately 16-20 hours across 3-4 days each week. Internships are offered in three \"sessions\": Spring Internship: Mid-January Late-June (finishing after Bonnaroo) Summer Internship: Mid-June Late-August (starting at Bonnaroo) Fall Internship: Mid-August Late-December This is a non-paid internship and open to any undergraduate/graduate college student. Your school must recognize the internship or provide you with some form of credit. You must be able to provide your own transportation and accommodations. Interns will receive occasional perks such as free tickets to events, related CD's and DVD's, and the possible chance for per-diem work at our events. Successful completion of this internship will likely provide you with beneficial contacts and recommendations.
