Citarella, The Ultimate Gourmet Market, is seeking a FINANCIAL REPORTING ANALYST to join our Finance Team!

This analyst position is responsible for generating, creating and analyzing reports for various financial statistics to provide management the tools and data for better decision making and accountability. S/he will be responsible for making business recommendations based on analysis that will result in overall cost savings, increased productivity, efficiency and / or revenue generation. Reporting to the Corporate Director of Finance, the reporting analyst is responsible to update, analyze and distribute all identified daily/weekly/monthly finance reports.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, data analysis or similar related role required
• Minimum 3 years of financial/reporting experience
• Demonstrated decision-making ability and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced computer skills required including Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Accounting software applications.
• Combined skill set of critical thinking and development.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to effective communicate (written and verbal) with associates, guests and vendors
• Able to work flexible work schedule in order to accommodate business levels.

• Generate reports through various tools to provide to Managers and Executives data in a usable format to make better decisions and hold teams accountable.
• Develop new reports to assist managers in highlighting areas of opportunity for better management and accountability.
• Responsile for managing data repository and testing & transition to upgraded version of Cognos
• Work with Corporate Director of Finance to identify areas to analyze and build reports to improve business.
• Work with various stakeholders throughout company to ensure financial tools are used consistently and properly
• Responsible for making business recommendations based on analysis that will result in overall cost savings, increaded productivity, efficiency and / or revenue generation.
