Position Overview:
This individual would be responsible for 1) Global Core Compliance Program, including personal trading, gifts & entertainment, political contributions, and outside business activities; and 2) Manage global compliance training program. Additionally, this individual would lead the development of new automated compliance solutions regarding core compliance areas. The successful candidate would be responsible for coordination within the Legal and Compliance Department and with business and control function personnel at multiple BlackRock locations.
Qualifications:
10 years of asset management, consulting, or regulatory experience.
Prior performance in a supervisory role.
In depth knowledge of the US federal securities laws; knowledge of other US and non-US regulatory requirements (e.g., FSA, CFTC) a plus.
Extensive experience with internal controls and the development, implementation and management of regulatory, compliance and/or legal risk mitigation programs.
Strong written/oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or law degree a plus.
