New Account Depart Specialist (Job Number: 1302171)
Description
Perform KYC/AML due diligence by requesting documentation for new customers; input and maintain accurate account information in the Document Tracking System; and liaise with the sales staff, compliance and legal on pertinent issues. The position requires a high degree of understanding of CIP, AML and Patriot Act requirements for a broker dealer.
The position needs to understand how the CIP requirements pertain to BNYMCM''s customer base. The position is an important impact on BNYMCM''s interaction with clients. The New Accounts staff interacts with all new clients. Strong interpersonal skills are needed for this position.
This position interacts with BNYMCM clients, as well as the Sales, Compliance and legal staffs.
Qualifications
Bachelor''s Degree. 5-10 years experience. 10 years is preferred.
