The ideal candidate has 8 - 15 years of private equity experience; additional experience in public accounting and/or large consulting firms is a plus. 4-year bachelor degree required; CPA, MBA or Masters of Accounting strongly preferred. Candidate should have the ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and meet reporting deadlines.Professional QualificationsRequirements include:* Significant experience in private equity fund financial reporting, including quarterly and annual financial reports, cash management, and liquidity analysis* Significant experience in private equity fund accounting, including consolidation analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close* Strong partnership allocation calculation experience, including waterfall modeling and calculations* Significant experience with complex products and structures* Financial planning and analysis* Experience with capital calls and distribution management* Advanced proficiency in Excel* Experience using partnership accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Advent) is a plus* Experience interpreting fund agreements is a plus* Desire and ability to commute to New York City, Jersey City, NJ, and/or Fairfield County, CTOur Consultants enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to choose the client projects that interest them, while continuing to build professional relationships within our global community of Consultant and business professionals.
