Project Accountant - Tough Mudder LLC (Brooklyn, NY)

The Job: We are hiring an Event Accountant who will join the Finance team to monitor the progress of events and projects, investigate variances, and ensure that project billings are issued and payments are collected. The Work: Review and provide variance reports on project income statements Confirm consistent reporting project by project Maintain monthly journal entries with proper supporting schedules Maintain timely input and management of project-related records (i.e. contracts, change orders) Review and maintain rolling balance sheet reconciliations and all related sub-ledgers The Traits: Superior critical thinker and communicator Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Team player with strong attention to detail Creative problem-solver Excellent technical and analytic skills The Experience: 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting function Strong knowledge and application of GAAP & IFRS principles Solid corporate accounting foundation Strong Excel proficiency and comfortable with multiple systems environment Required experience: 2 - 5 years Minimum required education: Bachelor's Degree Job category: Accounting, Insurance & Finance
