SALES -New YorkResponsibilities* Developing leads and leveraging existing industry relationships to develop leads* Work with existing clients to identify and plan for their travel needs* Negotiate favorable terms with vendors for clients that accomplish client objectives* Act as client advocate with vendors when issues arise* Anticipate client needs and have solutions ready before the client calls regarding requests* Provide best in class customer service that exceeds client-Ts expectations* Develop relationships with key clients to improve the service level* Address all client needs on a timely basisRequirements/Qualifications:* Degree in marketing or other business related field strongly preferred Must be self-driven, and possess experience within the travel or tourism industry* Must possess strong negotiation skills and customer service experience.* Proven track record of developing professional relationships that lead to increased business.* Reputation for working in a team environment.* Demonstrated knowledge of the best practices within the travel industry.* Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced, yet team-oriented environment under stringent deadlines; as requirements can change quickly and often and require immediate response!!* The ability to resolve problems independently; think quickly on your feet while also approaching challenges with energy and enthusiasm is also required along with willingness to think outside of the box.* Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word)* Strong attention to detail, good communications skills - both verbally and in writing.Other Details:* This is a full-time position that is available immediately and is an excellent opportunity for the right person, as the company continues to grow!!Compensation is based on an individual-Ts experience and includes a base salary.
