The role of Senior Financial Analyst is a good opportunity to work closely with the senior Nature Research Group (NRG) management team, providing commercial and analytical support to the business. In conjunction with the global Management Reporting, Planning and Analysis (MRPA) NRG team, you will be involved in the budget/re-forecast process for NRG and analyzing the performance of NRG. You will be the key business liaison for specific areas of the NRG business.

Analyze NRG profit and loss statement (P&L), investigate variances and provide monthly commentary
Weekly and monthly reporting for NRG management and MRPA teams
Provide monthly cost analysis to the business with regular meetings to discuss variances, future plans and impact on the forecast
Work with NRG management team and MRPA colleagues to produce budget and forecast for NRG
Produce consolidated (US and International) P&L reports on a monthly basis, using multiple source systems, providing insightful analysis to the business performance
Back up NRG commercial reporting team to produce weekly/monthly reports
Provide analysis and support for other business areas, as required.
Any other duties that can reasonably be expected of you

Experience, skills, and qualifications

Bachelor's degree
At least 3 years analysis experience, including forecasting
Excellent analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proactive self-starter
Intermediate/Advanced Excel
CPA or MBA a plus
SAP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience preferred
1+ years’ previous experience in a general ledger role
