Supervisor, Billing and Data Reporting & Analysis - P03871 Tracking Code 213000-023 Job Description Position Objective: Supervises the operation of the Billing Unit and works to ensure compliance with WeCARE contract and program requirements and procedures; assist general program operations to assure all services provided to clients are billable and billed on time. Assist the Data Reporting & Analysis Unit, works to ensure compliance with WeCARE contract and program requirements and procedures; provides administrative support in the areas of maintenance of records, statistical reports and documentation. Essential Functions: * Provide direction to and supervision of billing staff to ensure that functions are performed in an appropriate and timely fashion. * Ensure program and data compliance for all services to be billed in a timely manner throughsystem integrity checks. * Perform routine analysis of program operations and benchmarks related to billing and performance management. * Generate performance reports and statistics on a monthly, trend and activity basis, on key program indicators for Management and program funders. * Identify, if applicable employee or program performance and determine if deliverables are not being met. * Respond to requests for special queries, reports and data analysis. * Use formulas and spreadsheet tools to generate graphs and tables for reporting purposes. * Compile and analyze data from multiple electronic sources for statistical and management reports. * Reconcile discrepancies and perform consistency checks in large datasets. Required Skills * Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Administration, Policy or related field required. Master's degree preferred. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. * Ability to perform basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. * Ability to convert data to charts and graphs, using automated tools such as MS Excel and MS Access. * Ability to analyze, interpret and apply concepts from procedural manuals. * Ability to interpret alpha and numerical data from spreadsheets and reports. * Ability to define problems, collect data, identify exceptions, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to solve practical and intellectual problems utilizing principles of logical thinking. * Ability to work within general guidelines and minimal supervision. * Ability to organize, prioritize and execute responsibilities in the face of conflicting priorities or unexpected situations. * Ability to recognize the need for confidentiality of information and to maintain such confidences. * Must be able to prioritize critical needs and address competing, concurrent needs for appropriate managers. * Effective problem solving skills. * Able to work in a high pressure, high volume, fast paced environment. Required Experience * A minimum of three (3) years experience in program management with one (1) year prior supervisory experience preferred.
