Job Description

Responsibilities of the Tax Analyst include, but are not limited to:

• Researching and analyzing tax and accounting rules and apply findings to financial information to determine book/tax differences

• Partnering with tax advisory and business units to investigate a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions for a variety of entities

• Preparing and review federal and state and local tax compliance work product including tax returns, quarterly estimates and extensions

• Assisting with quarterly Federal and State tax provision calculation and year end company financials

• Assisting with tax compliance software testing and enhancements

• Assisting in all Federal and State and Local tax audit related matters

• Contributing to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters development

• Performing other related duties

Required Skills

• 2+ years of Corporate tax experience

• Public accounting experience

• Superior technical competence

• Experience with Tax - State & Local; Research & Planning; Partnership; Corporate; Compliance

• FAS 109 proficient

Desired Skills

• Broker dealer and alternative investments/partnership experience

• Experience with a Big 4 CPA firm
