Tax Manager - State and Local ( SALT ) - Financial Services Company (New York, NY)

Our client, a leading global CPA/Tax consulting firm seeks a State and Local (SALT) Tax Manager for their expanding New York, New York (NY) practice. This company offers outstanding exposure, training, compensation and advancement potential.

Responsibilities may include:
* Implementing and overseeing the tax plan
* Performing managerial functions in the office
* Prepare the required government documents concerning taxes
* Ensure the accuracy of all documents
* Offering solutions to pressing tax problems
* Working with a diverse group of people to further the goals of the company
* Accurately and efficiently managing tax reporting and planning and ensure compliance of tax laws for the company or client

Requirements:
* 8 + years of public accounting tax experience with emphasis on State/Local tax issues
* CPA and/or advanced degree would be a plus
