Administrative AssistantCategory: MarketingLocation: New YorkJob Summary:Morgan Lewis is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Marketing & Communications Department who will be resident in our New York office. The Marketing & Communications Department at Morgan Lewis is charged with enhancing the firm's presence and reputation both internally and externally. Our team ensures that each message the firm delivers is consistent and coherent. The Administrative Assistant will support the New York based Marketing & Communications department, including directors and managers.Responsibilities are diverse, including meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, invoice/expense processing/reconciliation, data entry; full administrative oversight for selected projects including planning of team meetings; providing general marketing assistance and phone coverage and general administrative support to several Marketing & Communications team members. Additional responsibilities include inventory control and tracking orders; coordination of firm marketing materials requests; oversight of the marketing supply room; event support such as on site coverage, tracking attendance, and other related details. The successful candidate will also assist with planning and administering webcasts.Requirements:The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of related experience, preferably in a professional services industry. We are also seeking a team player who is committed to superior standards of professionalism and productivity. We seek a highly energetic professional with excellent oral and written communication skills and who is service-oriented, diplomatic, and graceful under pressure. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has excellent time management, administrative and organizational skills to consistently juggle a full project load. Candidates must be highly proficient in using technology, such as email and meeting schedulers, to improve efficiency. In addition to word processing, proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint are necessary. Experience with InterAction, WebEx, Chrome River and SharePoint are a plus.
