You will be the front representative for a busy medical office. We are looking for someone positive, friendly and intuitive with computers. You are highly organized and a terrific multitasker, who is detail oriented, and energetic. You learn quickly and embrace new challenges. You are great with elderly people. You are nurturing- you genuinely enjoy helping people to feel better when they are sick and to lead healthier lives. You are an open communicator, and get along well with other people. You aren't afraid to call patients to schedule appointments or collect payments. You are punctual. You also have a knack for business development and will love contributing new ideas and acting on them to contribute to the growth of the practice. You like being busy. We are a small team and we are nimble, highly efficient, and rely upon one another. You ideally have experience in a fast paced medical practice.

We are looking for two part time people, one for our Danbury Office and one for our New Fairfield Office. Approximately 18-25 hrs/wk for each person.

We are flexible if someone wants to just work mornings or just work afternoons. We are really looking for the right fit and for two terrific people, ideally long term! College degree preferred.


Your duties will include greeting patients, corresponding with patients, medical offices, and hospitals, answering phones, sending faxes, collecting bills, doing referrals, etc. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The admin job scope includes communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Business Development:

Growing our business, whether it is through calling patients, updating our social media account, gaining press coverage, the sky is the limit!


Responsibilities that are essential for the job:

Exceptional communication skills
Great each patient with a smile and a positive attitude
Maintain positive telephone hospitality manner and answers in house and incoming telephone calls.
Give patients all necessary forms to fill out
Ensure all patient demographics are correctly entered in eclinical
Move patients through appointments as scheduled
Appointment scheduling and confirming upcoming appointments
Maintain and manage patient’s record
Collect co-pays and out-standing balance
Check patient’s eligibility and benefits
Respond to information requests from patients and doctors promptly
Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPPA)
Reconcile deposit at the end of the day
Provides co-worker, patients and management with responses in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Corresponds with hospitals, patients, and medical offices
Manage social media accounts
Organize electronic files
Nurture new patient leads


Minimum 1 year experience working in a fast paced medical office or EXTREMELY savvy with computers and picks up things very quickly
Excellent computer skills
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis a plus
Knowledge of eclinical a BIG plus
Knowledge of health insurance a plus
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office and other computer systems
Positive attitude, highly efficient, great teamworker
