Position Overview: This individual will work closely with HRF’s Development Specialist and Communications Specialist on media relations, fundraising, and marketing projects. Tasks include helping to organize HRF events; assisting with donor outreach; researching prospective supporters; updating internal databases; researching, drafting, and editing communications; and working on our social media platforms.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated college student passionate about defending human rights globally and possessing excellent research and communication skills. This is an ideal position for someone who would like to learn multiple aspects of working for a human rights nonprofit. Sound judgment, focus, organization, an ability to work under pressure, and a sense of humor are imperative. Fluency in a foreign language is beneficial but not required.

Compensation: $1,000/month for full-time availability. The position requires full-time hours at our New York City office.
