We now need a results-driven Office Manager to join our community.

This fall, Success Academy will open its first combined K-8 Lab School and state-of-the-art center for training and professional development of educators: the Robertson Center of the Success Academy Education Institute. Located in New York's Hudson Yards neighborhood, the Robertson Center will serve as the headquarters for the Education Institute, and provide extensive programming for our own teachers, leaders and school staff, as well as for educators across the country and even around the world. The Center will mobilize educators to look for innovative solutions to deep-seated educational challenges and through the Lab School, give them both real-time inspiration and practical demonstration of ways to reimagine public education.

Success Academy is now seeking a results-driven Office Manager for this brand new location. Reporting to a Director at the Robertson Center, the Office Manager is a key member of the Education Institute Team, managing and overseeing the office operations of The Center on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Liaise with building and school operations staff to ensure close collaboration between The Center and Success Academy Hudson Yards Schools.

* Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships by skillfully executing on logistics, including space scheduling, set-up requests, and all the details that make event planning successful.

* Fostering a highly professional and welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service.

* Being responsive, maintaining records, and greeting external visitors and staff.

* Actively overseeing and enforcing operational protocols at The Center, assuring high levels of aesthetics.

* Acting as the go-to for a wide variety of on-site requests at this state-of-the-art facility, including technology and AV support, as well as repairs and general facilities requests.

A successful applicant will have the following experiences and characteristics:

* A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role.

* Customer service attitude.

* Excellent organizational skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

* Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. AV, printers).

* Professional attitude and appearance.

* Solid written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

* Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
