About Touro College:

Touro is a system of Jewish-sponsored non-profit institutions of higher and professional education. Touro College was chartered in 1970 primarily to enrich the Jewish heritage, and to serve the larger American community. Provides overall support to the federally funded Equity Assistance Center grant


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Principal writer and editor of the Region II EAC newsletter, coordinating its' design, development, and distribution.
Coordinates and maintains all aspects of the Region II EAC website.
Serves as program EAC liaison to Touro's GSE departments, other GSE federally funded programs, and national funded TA&D technical assistance centers.
Coordinates research and outreach to assist Region II districts and schools with other state and local funding opportunities to support equity
Provides overall administrative support to the EAC project and works closely with EAC staff members to assist in implementation of their respective areas of responsibility.
Responds to general inquiries from EAC clients about EAC activities and mission; directs inquiries, if needed, to specific staff members
Maintains the Master Schedule for EAC and coordinates with clients, project subcontractor, and project consultants regarding timing and place of all service delivery; arranges travel for EAC staff and prepares all authorization and reimbursement documents associated with site visits and training workshops
Coordinates arrangements for space, materials, and other needs in relation to EAC sponsored seminars, institutes, and conferences
Creates client data portfolios and maintains individual client files; collects and enters evaluation and other pertinent data required for project reports to the federal government; participates in monthly project meetings; prepares correspondence for the EAC Director, as needed; maintains all EAC project-related files


Education, Preparation, and Training

Bachelor's Degree required
At least five years of prior equivalent experience

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Good writing skills
Physical Demands

Extensive time sitting and standing
Extensive use of computers
Ability to lift 5 lbs.
Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
