The firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers, small business and commercial banking, financial transaction processing, asset management, and private equity.Consumer Community Banking Compliance PracticesConsumer Community Banking (CCB) Compliance plays a critical role in the successful execution of the firms compliance mission. The Compliance function ensures the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture by working closely with business, legal, risk, and audit functions to provide expertise on regulatory compliance matters. The Compliance function also develops and maintains practices to identify, measure, manage, and control compliance related risks, and monitors and tests the adequacy of the firms compliance control environment. `CCB Policies and Practices is a newly formed group with responsibility for working with Global Compliance to design and implement core compliance practices to be applied across CCB. Such practices include implementing a consistent approach and framework for Governance Oversight, Policies Regulatory Management, Training Awareness, Risk Assessment and Reporting, Monitoring and Testing, and Issue Management activities. This team, in partnership with Chief Compliance Officers will help design and implement the approach to the CCBs compliance practices, and continually enhance core compliance practices.Position DescriptionThis role provides the opportunity to participate in the development of a best in class Practices Advisory function with responsibility for advising, guiding, and supporting CCB Compliance Teams on existing practices and standards. The primary objectives of the Advisory function are to help ensure the execution of high quality and consistent CCB Compliance practices. The role will be accountable for assisting in the development and implementation of core CCB compliance practices, including, Risk Assessment, Continuous Monitoring, Testing, and Issue Management Practices. The function will also work closely with the CCB Quality Assurance Team to analyze QA results and develop and implement recommendations, guidance, and training on best practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of execution and standards of such practices.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the design and continuous enhancement of CCB Compliance Risk Assessment, Monitoring, and Testing Programs and leading edge practices that are sustainable, repeatable and drive consistency;Assist with new practices design, enhancement, and remediation projects, including formulating project plans and timelines, facilitating working sessions, reporting on progress, and driving execution;Work in close collaboration with CCB Compliance Teams to implement and advise on Policies, and Standards, and Practices;Work collaboratively with Global Compliance in connection with Compliance Framework enhancement efforts to design programs that apply best practices and considers changing regulatory standards;Assist in governing program change activities by positively and creatively influence change, ensuring changes are appropriately documented, approved, and; preparing and helping others to anticipate and manage through change;Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments regarding compliance design promoting an environment with leading edge compliance risk management practices and tools;Work with Training partners to develop ongoing relevant training programs for CCB Compliance professionals with respect to changes to standards resulting from best practices and QA activities;Build and maintain key relationships across CCB Compliance, promoting a culture of engagement and connectivity; and
