T2 is a division of Tarisio designed specifically for the violin trade and offers internship opportunities six times a year to coincide with our sales.

Our 8-week program is designed so interns can be immersed in the entire auction process from start to finish and build a foundation of strong work ethics through experience in a diverse office environment.
Working from our New York office, you will be an integrated member of a dedicated and passionate of both our T2 and Tarisio teams.

By the end of the internship, you will have gained a thorough understanding of the business operations of an auction house.

You will specifically help co-ordinate our March auction viewing as well as assisting with general front of house including:
- Gallery set up
- Greeting arriving clients
- Answering calls and directing to appropriate staff
- Buyer inquiries, some including playing of instruments

You will work with us to prepare the catalogue for our May auction, where you will mainly assist our property handlers and photographer as follows:
- Cataloguing (certificate handling, taking dimensions, transcribing multilingual labels of instruments)
- Organisation and preparation of instruments and bows for photography by removing chinrests, adjusting bridge positions, and dusting
- Taking label & brand photos

This is a paid position in the form of an $800 stipend. We also offer access to our Cozio archive for a year and references upon successful completion.

The ideal candidate will be available for 20 hours per week , commencing on 20th March for an 8 week duration. You must be a student currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from an arts-based programme. No experience is required, although familiarity with stringed instruments would be preferable.

We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with people and being part of a team. Positive attitude is a must!
