Grace Church Community Center (GCCC) is a 501 (c)(3) social services organization whose mission is to provide assistance to Westchester County's neediest men, women and children, especially those who are under-served by existing resources. The organization has been fulfilling this mission for 35 years through eight programs that include a soup kitchen, two homeless shelters, youth programs for homeless & disadvantaged children, housing assistance for individuals living with HIV/AIDs and a home health care agency.

Duties will include working with individual volunteers, corporate volunteer groups, mandated community service volunteers and Volunteer NY! The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training and monitoring volunteers, expanding the volunteer program to better assist GCCC's eight programs, developing a website presence for GCCC's volunteer program and communicating with volunteers through eNewsletters and social media. Candidate will also be responsible for soliciting, accepting and distributing In-Kind donations, writing thank you letters and assisting in all GCCC events.

The successful candidate will be an energetic "people person" with excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a broad spectrum of groups and individuals. Must have previous experience working with volunteers. Occasional weekend hours will be required.
