Joan Miro (1893-1983) is acknowledged as a 20th century modern art master. Born in Spain, his art went through several different stages of development. He is most identified with abstract works that use bright primary colors. Take a quick tour of our gallery of original color Joan Miro lithographs. We carry smaller works for the typical home/apartment wall, as well as larger poster-sized works for that large, hard to fill wall. Price varies depending on the piece. COAs available for all works. There is a reason why...
When you own numismatic coins, you want to own "Key Dates." 'Key Dates' carry a lot of weight. They are highly sought after by investors and collectors. You'll own something that other people want and look for.
Certain dates in the Carson City Morgan dollar series are more rare than others and the 1889 CC is the 'Key Date' to the collection. There were only 350,000 minted. With less than 350,000 left and more than a billion people in the world, everyone who wants one, can’t have one. There aren’t enough to go around. When you own this coin, you'll be one of the few who do.
For every person who owns an 1889 CC, there are thousands of people who have never seen one in person. You’ll own something everyone can’t own, like a rare painting.
Most Morgan dollars have 'common dates' (the year they were made). This means millions of them were minted (or made) that year and nothing is special about them because of high supply and low demand. "Key Date" coins have low mintages and high buyer demand. People like to own things that are rare and unique. That's why one silver dollar is worth a low amount (a common date) and another silver dollar may be worth hundreds, thousands, or more (a 'Key Date'). As you know, 1889 CC in high mint state condition, sells for thousands of dollars.
Millions of Morgan dollars were destroyed and or lost in circulation. 'Key Dates' are hard to find unless you get them from an investor or collector.
You had several U.S. Mints that produced Morgan dollars: The San Francisco Mint, the Denver Mint, the New Orleans Mint, the Carson City Mint, and the Philadelphia Mint.
The Carson City Mint (Carson City, Nevada) was open for a limited time and shut down in 1893. Morgan dollars from the Carson City Mint are rare and harder to find than most coins from all the other U.S. mints. Only coins made from 90% silver or gold were minted there.
If you know someone who owns Morgan Dollars, 9 times out of 10 they won't have an 1889 CC. It will be a different date from one of the other mints unless they're an investor or collector who specifically searched to find one. When you own this coin you'll be holding history in low supply and high demand in your hand.
This is from the era where money was made from silver and gold. This collector's item is 90% silver and you'll feel the weight when you hold it.
This coin is Certified by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) as PCGS Genuine - VG (Very Good) Details - rim damage (it has a tiny rim nick). You have the comfort of knowing this 'Key Date' was authenticated by one of the most respected coin grading services in the business.
You can enjoy this collectors item and pass it down to your children or grandchildren.
If you like to save money, here is your opportunity to own the 'Key Date' to the Carson City Series without having to spend thousands of dollars to own it. It's available for $607.
1893 CC is a "Key Date” in the Carson City Morgan Dollar Series and is scarce in all grades (coin conditions) when you find one. This date has a mintage of 677,000 so again, you'll own something rare that other people want and look for.
This coin is also 90% fine silver and has weight to it. I purchased it from a coin dealer and had it certified and graded by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS). You have the comfort of knowing your coin was graded by one of the most respected coin grading services in the business. You'll own a Certified PCGS 1893 CC Morgan Silver Dollar graded F-15 (Fine 15). It's available for $497.
Own both 'Key Dates' for $1047 and save.

BRIAN LEETCH NY Rangers 1st NHL GAME ROOKIE DEBUT TICKET STUB v St. Louis Blues at Madison Square Garden February 29, 1988.
Also known as Marcel Dionne Night.
Brian Leetch, one of the greatest NHL Defensemen ever:
**is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame
**has had is Number 2 Jersey permanently retired by the Rangers as one of their All Time Greatest Players
**holds 29 Rangers All Time Records
To quote the NY Rangers Website regarding the very beginning of Brian Leetch's Career:
“Brian Leetch skated in his first NHL game against the St. Louis Blues on Feb. 29, 1988, in what marked the beginning of his 16-year journey to the MSG rafters.
If his one season at Boston College didn't have Rangers fans excited enough about the club's 1986 first round draft choice, then seeing Leetch perform for the United States at the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary surely did the trick. After posting 74 points in 50 games for the U.S. National Team prior to the Olympics, Leetch was 1-5-6 over six matches as captain of Team USA in Calgary, the first of three Winter Olympics in which Leetch represented his country.
Having solidified his place as an elite National Hockey League prospect with his play and leadership in Calgary, Leetch was set to make his debut for the Rangers.
The much-anticipated event took place against the St. Louis Blues on Feb. 29, 1988 at Madison Square Garden, and Leetch, just two days shy of his 20th birthday, did not disappoint. Early in the second period of what would turn out to be a 5-2 Rangers victory, Leetch picked up an assist on a goal scored by team captain Kelly Kisio. That point was the first of the 1,028 he would record in his NHL career, including 981 as a member of the Rangers.
Spurred by Leetch's play, the Rangers closed out the season 10-5-2 with their new defenseman in the lineup. Leetch was 2-12-14 in those 17 contests, recording points in 10 of the 17 matches. His first NHL goal was scored against Edmonton's Grant Fuhr on March 24, when he also produced the first three-point game of his career, in a resounding 6-1 Rangers victory.
And from that first taste of the National Hockey League, the stage had been set for Leetch's dynamic rookie season the following year and his ensuing magical 17-year run in the NHL.”
