In order to enable our Microsoft Advertising Sales (MAS) Account Teams to sell effectively, Microsoft Advertising must deliver Industry expertise to clients that leverage the breadth of the entire network and product capabilities. The Entertainment Sales Director will be responsible for driving online advertising revenue within their vertical of entertainment. The person should bring deep expertise of the industry profile and value that Microsoft Advertising delivers to our advertisers and agencies. This role will be responsible for evangelizing and educating Account Teams on Industry opportunities, explaining the value proposition and cross selling across the network, driving upfront sales proposals for key vertical clients. Additionally, the Industry Specialist will be the voice of the customer (agency and advertisers), driving client feedback into Product Management and Product Marketing teams to facilitate product enhancements as well as represent Microsoft thought leadership at Key Industry Events as a speaker and/or panelist. EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: . 6 years of digital marketing or online advertising experience . 5 years proven and consistent track record of executing against an aggressive growth strategy and delivering sales revenue growth rates in excess of company expectations . Excellent executive maturity and leadership capability to influence, develop, and empower partners and internal stakeholders at varying levels to support business goals . Proven and consistent track record of executing against an aggressive growth strategy and delivering sales revenue growth rates in excess of company expectations . Exceptional communicator and active listener who has successfully established open and bi-directional feedback mechanisms and who actively seeks constructive feedback . Strong Emotional Intelligence (EQ) - understands cultural sensitivities and developing high quality relationships . Personal network of CMO and VP level relationships at Fortune 500 accounts and advertising agencies . Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized . Excellent networking and interpersonal skills . Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products, platforms, services and technology - High degree of integrity and honesty . Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment . Adept at dealing with ambiguity and a frequently changing work environment . Positive, can-do spirit and passion for digital media/technology . BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience, MBA a plus REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: .
