Original play needs comedic/dramatic actress

An actress is needed for a two-week run of an independent play, "Rohti Sex", in late March or early April, most likely at the Red Room theater on 4th St, in the Bowery, in lower Manhattan. The play is a gender role-reversal comedy about an alien world where women are dominant, and through a quirk of evolution men carry the babies. It's a two-performer show, with each actor playing numerous characters. The action is narrated by two alien scientists, who talk about the sexual mores of their planet, in information that arrives on Earth through "interstellar greeting" transmissions. The actors play a series of characters in educational "films". Most of the action scenes are broad comedy, one is intense drama. Your acting partner will also be the director (and playwright), so if you have a director's eye too, that's great. We'll have minimal support staff, so any other production skills you have (marketing, for example) will be put to good use. There will be NO admittance fee charged - part of our mission plan is to promote a world of sharing, not greed. If you have any hangups about the human body, this is your chance to lose them, as there is one beautiful nude scene. There will be an audience donation box, which will be overflowing every night. All profits will be shared. Whatever happens, you'll receive $50 per performance. Obviously, chemistry with your partner (me) is at least as important as talent, in a two-actor vehicle. I live in Yonkers, and rehearsals (unpaid) will probably be at my home (or yours). We may have fewer, longer rehearsals, if we don't live close to each other.
