Job Responsibilities and Activities:* Manage the development of the premise and format for programming specific to areas and topics of pop culture, celebrity culture and entertainment; targeting both current and future subscribers* Develop ideas for new content and relationships with new partners to create new content* Identify, recruit and manage talent and production staff. Work with programming development, business affairs and legal as applicable* Create vision for on-air imaging package to brand the channels through production* Work closely with staff to communicate and instill vision of channel(s) and expectations for programming* Develop and maintain relationships with key contributors, both current and potential* Work with program producers and staff on developing appropriate topics and styles for individual programs* Work with program team to create sales and promotional opportunities for ad sales* Oversee promotion of channel(s) through on-air and off-air opportunities including social media outreach* Manage to and within designated budgetMinimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree Preferred* Minimum ten years of experience in overseeing traditional and/or new media content with demonstrated expertise in entertainment-focused radio programming* Strong experience working with highest levels within producing partners and in-house management teams; managing talent including celebrity talent; developing and executing creative ideas from conception to business points to on-air execution; proven track record of managing autonomously and driving agendaSupervisory Responsibilities:* Manages a team of on-air hosts and production staffGeneral Skills and Requirements:* Ability to create content and ideas and effectively manage through all phases of development up to on-air launch* Expertise in entertainment programming; strong interest in current events and pop culture as it relates to this genre* Strong communication and relationship building skills; ability to influence and lead across work groups and functions* Ability to work within a highly collaborative environment, sell management and colleagues into ideas* Demonstrated track record in talent management, management of content partners, formats and on air packaging and presentation* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadline pressure* Excellent time management skills and ability to creatively solve problems* Must have legal right to work in the U.S.Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/V/DThe requirements and duties described above may be modified or waived by the Company in its sole discretion without notice.
