Description MLB Advanced Media (MLBcom) the official site of Major League Baseball is looking for great developers to work on its Android applications including the At Bat line of apps We will consider excellent candidates who do not have experience with the Android platform Qualified candidates should have the following 3+ years of application development experience as well as a good understanding of the full development lifecycle 2+ years of experience with Java Significant experience in an objectoriented language and familiarity with key objectoriented design patterns Experience with clientside development on any language or platform Strong understanding of concurrency and multithreaded application development Basic knowledge of networking conceptsprotocols eg TCPIP HTTP Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a highly collaborative team environment including work with Product Managers and QA Testers BS or MS in Computer Science Nice to have Android development experience Through knowledge of Android SDKs Knowledge of baseball or fan of MLB team Passion for mobile technology
