A major investment bank is seeking a support analyst to join a small team which supports a variety of trading applications for the Front Office. Communication is key. Emphasis is also being placed on analytical and technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Good SQL, Scripting, UNIX and database experience are all critical to this role. Due to the nature of this role (it will be based primarily on a fast-paced trading floor), you will be expected to be calm under pressure and personable. You will also have strong focus on ownership of issues and commitment to resolving them. Exposure to working in a Support Environment is essential. Hatstand, a niche Financial IT Consultancy runs a 2 year program in conjunction with leading global investment banks. This scheme is aimed at recent graduates with 1-5 years of work experience. Training on financial products is provided where necessary during the course of the role. Successful applicants will have relevant work experience with a determined attitude to learn and contribute.
