Title: Associate Design Director, Aramis and Designer Fragrances Location: Americas-United States-New York Job Number:_121562 POSITION SUMMARY: The primary focus of this position is to partner with the Executive Design Director and Art Director in the creative development of ADF (Aramis and Designer Fragrances) international projects. Specifically, the Associate Director is responsible for directing and executing worldwide advertising and promotional collateral programs from inception through completion for the DKNY and DK Brands. This includes development of all in-store collateral, in-store presentation materials, and other brand related promotional vehicles. Projects are usually undertaken and completed within very tight timelines. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Development of Creative Concepts with the Executive Design Director. 2. Communicate effectively the creative objectives of projects and partner with various departments and functions including Art Directors, Designers, Operations Managers, Marketing and Copywriters. 3. Attend/Manage photo shoots to ensure accurate execution of material development and promotional materials. 4. Oversee retouching photo work, and all other printed materials from various departments that are utilized in the field. 5. Attend/Assess the Effectiveness of materials utilized in In-Store events. * BA or BFA preferred * 5 Years of direct Design/Development experience * Knowledge of computer programs including, Adobe Illustrator, Quark, Quark Express and Adobe Photo Shop. * Ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines * Superior Organizational Skills * Understanding of current fashion trends * Ability to work in a very fast paced environment EEO We are an equal opportunity employer.
