C#/WPF/Silverlight developer to assist in the migration of the user interface portion of our flagship Portfolio Analytics Application (Point), written in C#/CAB/Winform, to a new platform based on WPF and Silverlight. During the transition, the developer will be expected to maintain the existing common components and support its current user base.
Candidates for this position must have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills; 5+ years experience in .Net application development and software development life cycle. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of C#, WPF/Rich Internet Application (Microsoft Silverlight), and Microsoft Unity or Equivalent Agile containers. The candidate should possess a sound background in Multi-threading, Object Oriented Design, Refactoring and Unit Testing Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with solid communication skills. Prior experience with CAB (Composite UI Application Block, Developer Express, Windows Forms, trading systems are all pluses.
Candidates for this position should possess a high level of expertise with object-oriented software development, especially with the C# programming language and WPF. Candidates for this position are expected to be very proficient with User interface design, especially rich client user interfaces. Additionally, proficiency in one or more of the following is desirable:
Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong Multi-threading, Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Refactoring and Unit Testing
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) experience
