Cloud Architect - Infrastructure - CES (New York, NY)

Outline of the Role This is a technical role where you will be working with key clients and prospects helping them architect proper cloud solutions. You prime responsibilities in the role would be as under:- Design and architect innovative and practical cloud based solution for clients To define and recommend the Cloud Adoption Roadmap for our Clients To be part of the Advisory and Assessment phases of engagements Interact at the Client’s CIO/CTO levels and their architecture teams To create, maintain and update on a periodic basis, a publicly available portfolio of our cloud offerings in the form of technology-sales presentations, whitepapers, solution architectures, productized templates etc. To execute this role, you would need to possess/build the following skills:- A good knowledge and prior expertise of sizing in Virtualization, Network, Storage, Security, Public cloud infrastructure, etc. Sound knowledge of Capacity Management, Datacenter Consolidation, Automation & Monitoring Ability to profile the Infrastructure landscape in a customer environment Ability to build a Cloud Services Catalog Knowledge of Enterprise IT Applications would be a real advantage to the role Able to think logically and analytically during assessments To have a great ‘teaming’ spirit as your work would involve working with the Account Managers and other practice team-members within the TIS team in the execution of your role To stay updated on the cloud computing trends in the industry. Experience: 10+ Years of Prior IT Experience in the Infrastructure space. 3+ years of experience as an architect. Prior experience in atleast one of the following is preferable. However candidate should be able to differentiate between various vendor offerings available in the marketplace their suitability for a specific customer landscape: IaaS offerings like Amazon AWS, Rackspace, Datapipe etc. Infrastructure/Server Hardware/Software products from EMC, VMware, Cisco, Oracle/SUN, HP, Microsoft Hyper-V, Xen etc. Suitable Industry Recognized Certifications (Cisco, EMC, VMware, IBM, SUN, HP, MS, TOGAF etc.) will be desirable.
