The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York is seeking a part-time on-site Graphic Designer/Content Manager to oversee the graphic and digital needs of both the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYC) and Art of Acting Studio (LA). The qualified applicant will be an extremely organized, self-motivated, creative individual who can multi-task and take initiative. Key responsibilities include developing professional, compelling designs for printed media, including direct mail, brochures in perfect bind, flyers, presentation materials and large-format pieces; overseeing print production with vendors and mailing houses; producing digital content for web media including HTML5 animated ads; and maintaining company website on the Wordpress platform.

Works under the oversight of the Director of Marketing to create compelling design concepts and produce effective and engaging ads and collateral materials necessary for all aspects of Stella Adler Studio of Acting and Art of Acting Studio’s programming.
Design and produce materials such as posters, flyers, traditional and digital ads, brochures, presentation materials, direct mail pieces, etc.
Design web graphics for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and Art of Acting Studio websites and internet advertising, social media, and various online outlets. Experience designing animated HTML5 digital advertising required.
Develop and design web-based communications (e-blasts, newsletters, etc…) using online marketing best practices and track performance of the communications.
Work with Director of Marketing to keep website content up to date and liaison with third-party web developer.
Assist in monitoring website statistics and analyzing trends.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or other similar education experience highly desired with a minimum two years of professional graphic design experience plus a strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the graphic design field
High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator), HTML/CSS, and HTML5
Strong typographic skills, ability to execute edits, and good eye for proofing
Knowledge of Google Analytics and Video Editing a plus

Job Start Date: Immediately
Hours: Part-time, 20 Hours per Week
Pay: $25 per hour
Location: On-site at the studio
