A prestigious brokerage firm is looking for an upbeat and highly intelligent Hedge Fund Junior Helpdesk Analyst. This position will work in conjunction with the Information Technology Support/Information Security teams to create, maintain, and audit processes developed for the management of access to various electronic systems.

As the Hedge Fund Junior Helpdesk Analyst, you will:

• Act as initial point of contact for end-users seeking support/assistance from the Helpdesk

• Create and manage Helpdesk/ISA tickets to capture all user requests.

• Assign Helpdesk/ISA tickets to technicians based on the type and urgency of the problem

• Work closely with the IT Support/Helpdesk team to properly route Information

• Monitor ticket progress to ensure all end-user requests are completed in a timely fashion

• Executes procedures to obtain and maintain access controls for electronic systems

• Act as primary contact for system / data access requests

• Responsible for all Information Security documentation, including maintaining and updating all IT Information Security policies, procedures and workflows

• Responsible for administering and reporting on internally developed proprietary systems and electronic trading platforms

• Responsible for generating metrics for the Information Technology team, including reporting on periodic ISA ticket statistics

• Assist with the coordination for yearly Technology Audit conducted by external auditors

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, or a related field

• 2+ years of relevant work experience, in financial information technology

• Basic understanding of Hedge Fund activities

• Well-rounded knowledge of various Hedge Fund applications, programs, and/or
  
  software, with the ability to develop new programs and fix those that are not
  
  working properly
