J2EE Developer Major business services firm has an IMMEDIATE need for a J2EE Developer/Architect! They are looking for someone who has done hands on work with J2EE; any Oracle Fusion Middleware/SOA Suite and WebLogic experience is a plus. This exciting position is based in beautiful Manhattan with a compensation in the range of $100,000 - $120,000, along with a bonus and benefits. Please send your resume. Responsibilities: •Participate in object oriented design, development and testing of J2EE intranet applications •Develop and maintain Java (J2EE, EJBs, Servlets, JSP), PL-SQL, Web Services, Javascript (Ajax, JSON) and HTML code •Performing unit testing; resolve defects; and work as part of a team reporting to Project Leader •Support existing applications using a variety of technologies, including J2EE and PL/SQL •Additional projects as assigned Requirements: •Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of programming experience required •4+ years Object Oriented Analysis and Design; 2+ years of WebLogic or JBoss experience •4+ years of server-side Java (J2EE, Servlets, JSP); 2+ years SQL, Weblogic / JBoss •2+ years of Web Services experience preferred. •Financial Systems experience preferred. Oracle and PL/SQL preferred. •Knowledge of Microsoft .Net/VBA for Office Tools a plus Technical Skills: •Languages: Java, J2EE, C++ optional, PL/SQL •Tools: ER/Studio, MS Project, SQLNav, Eclipse •Environment: JBoss, Weblogic, Oracle Fusion Middleware/SOA Suite •Operating System: Linux, Database: Oracle 10g and 11g
