Java GUI Developer - Perennial Resources International (New York, NY)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Strong Java GUI developer to augment the front-end development group. This developer would be working in a small group on our flagship front-end system. They'll be expected to work with traders and other developers very closely. The person needs to be able to deliver in a tough environment and not just highly controlled process driven ones. QUALIFICATIONS / COMPUTER SKILLS: Strong Java skills with knowledge of Swing and/or SWT. Multithreaded programming and TCP/IP programming would also be required. Equities trading experience as well as C++/Windows coding and basic XML knowledge. Good communication skills are definitely a must EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE: College Degree
