Responsible for application support and maintenance including review, analysis and resolution of daily issues; review other developers unfamiliar code, conduct thorough search of matching code against business rules, apply necessary fixes, and provide testing support for scheduled fixes using JAVA/J2EE application development experience; analyze, troubleshoot and fix the production problems; manage outage calls and ensure complete resolution and minimize customer impacts; responsible for systems enhancements /improvements and support the Shopp application flow and its functionalities using ATG Frameworks, ATG BCC (Business Control Center), Content Administration Service, ATG Assembler API, Endeca Platform, BEA WebLogic, and Oracle 11g; analyze and validate existing unknown code against business rules and produce new code to close open gaps and defects in the system; evaluate and research newer technologies and find innovative/out-of-the-box solutions; ensure availability, reliability and scalability of the application; provide 24/7 on call support; monitor the application for any signs of weaknesses and take corrective actions; bring continuous improvements to the systems; develop understanding of POS suite of applications, billing functions and care and self-service applications.


REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressive experience in software development lifecycle, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Experience therein to include 3 years in JAVA/J2EE application development using Servlets, JSP, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JAXB, Web Services, XML over HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML/DHTML, and CSS; and 2 years using ATG Frameworks, ATG BCC, Content Administration Service, ATG Assembler API, Endeca Platform, BEA WebLogic, and Oracle 11g.Must Reference: Job #KRC1-W
