Senior IT Auditor - Kforce Inc (New York, NY)

A Kforce New York, New York client, a Professional Services Firm specializing in Assurance, Advisory, Accounting, and Tax Services is seeking an IT Audit Senior to work with high-growth clients and other market leaders in industries such as retail, consumer products, financial services, insurance, and health sciences. The Senior IT Auditor position participates in all aspects of the project including the planning, control analysis, testing, issue development, and reporting phases. This individual will be expected to engage in dialogue with Business / IT Unit Management and various control partners to identify and assess risks and controls. In addition, this individual will assign and review work of staff auditors and assist in the preparation of a final report / deliverable. 25-30% travel required. The successful Senior IT Auditor applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):
* A Bachelor's Degree with approximately 2 years of related work experience; a Graduate Degree with approximately 1-2 years of related work experience, or a Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
* An MBA is preferred
* A minimum 1 year of related audit or risk advisory business experience
* Approximately 1 or more years of public accounting experience is preferred
* CIA, CISA, CISSP, CGEIT, CRISC, CFE, or PMP Certification is desired
* Non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Management
* Proficiency with MS Office and Lotus Notes is essential
