Senior Software Engineer - JobSpring Partners (New York, NY)

a national music media outlet who has been in business for over twenty years and has a deep involvement with mainstream and underground music of almost all genres. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer and team leader who will be primarily working on the next generation of the publishing platform. The position will be the leader of the team and deliver on a new CMS platform and re-architecting on pre-existing operations. This position works closely with and reports to the CTO. You will lead a team of developers on building the CMS platform and candidates will ideally have worked with CMS solutions (Drupal, Wordpress, Custom, etc). This position will be leading project status meetings, tracking issues and identify new risks. There will be advanced hands on work including coding, testing and configuring the internal and external software applications. Having integral parts of the decisions for large software components and contribution to the software and web technology strategy of the company.
