IT Project Manager III Location: Melville NY Duration: 12 months Job Description: Travel is required for this position of at least 25%. Technical IT Project with knowledge of building infrastructure network. Building infrastructure includes - routers, switches, wireless, voice, circuits, data cabling, and AV. This position will be part of one of the Integration Workstreams and will manage a medium to large sized project. Manages cross-functional project teams. Creates over-arching project plan including implementation schedules, communication plans, escalation processes, etc. Responsible for all aspects of project management and controls, including forecasting, scheduling, compliance, budget management, status reporting, etc. according to tight compliance standards. Required Qualifications: a. Minimum -5 years of project management experience managing meduim to large projects 2-8 million efforts) b. Ability to lead a cross functional team that is geographically dispersed c. Ability to effectively communicate across a broad program d. Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously . Demonstrated experience to influence and coordinate third parties and suppliers f. Highly organized/detail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills g. Proven ability to lead a diverse group towards resolution when faced with ambiguous situations h. Ensure high-quality and consistent project management practices across the segment i. Ability to effectively travel and be productive while travelingi. Ability to effectively travel and be productive while traveling j. Expert with Microsoft suite including MS Project, knowledge of MS Visio k. Change management proficient Preferred Qualifications: a. Bachelors Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or Project Management b. MBA .
