VP of Engineering - NET SaaS - Technisource (New York, NY)

Our client, a leading provider of cloud based SaaS products for the service industry. Their products enabled over $1 billion in eCommerce in 2012. They are a rapidly growing company looking for a VP of Engineering to join the senior management team and report directly to the COO. The right person for this role can lead motivate and build a team of engineers. You must be passionate about technology in general and stay on the cutting edge on the web side. This role handles the design, development, release and leads the team to create scalable connected apps that can handle billions of hits per day Skills: At least 9 years relevant experience and at least 3 in a Senior Management role. You have built and scaled large websites or connected applications that have handled high traffic You have strong operational and project management skills with a proven track record of success You are proud to be a builder and developer of great talent and superior teams that stay up to date on the latest and greatest. You are not afraid to make your opinion known and explain your reason for feeling that way to the team, while taking their comments into account. Solid experience with the Microsoft stack of .Net/C# Some expertise in the latest web technologies (node.js, Coffeescript, HTML 5, CSS3, etc.)
