Do you need help with any of the following computer related services:
• Setting up a new computer/laptop.
• Installing software (antivirus/antispyware, Microsoft Office, Adobe, iTunes, etc.).
• Setting up a wireless network or internet connection.
• Setting up E-mail account(s).
• Tutorials on various programs and activities (Microsoft Office, iTunes, Using the Internet, etc.)
• Problems watching videos online or listening to music.
• Issues connecting to the internet.
• Virus/spyware problems.
• Running a system restore to fix your computer.
• Other computer issues.
If so, let me know about it at stechguy27@gmail.com. I will help you with your computer problems by making your computer good as new, or helping you understand how to maximize the use of your machine.
What I need from you:
When you send me an E-mail, please include the following:
• Your name
• The problem that you are having with your computer
• Your phone number
• Best time to contact you
• The way you prefer to be contacted (E-mail or phone)
What you can expect from me:
You can expect someone who is honest, hard working and who will use his knowledge and experience to find a solution to the problem. I won’t just solve your problems, but I will explain everything I do so the same issues do not occur again. You can also expect someone who will show up on time and, if I cannot make it at the scheduled time, I will let you know as soon as possible. I will also follow up with a phone call or E-mail in about two weeks after solving your issue to make sure that everything is running optimally.
Qualifications:
Besides a mastery of basic software such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visual Studio.NET, and Dreamweaver MX 2004, I also have knowledge of programming languages, primarily C++ and Java, with some experience in Prolog, Scheme, PHP, and SQL. I graduated from Polytechnic University of NYU with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science in 2007, and I have been performing freelance technical assistance since May 2009.
My rate is $25 per hour. I can go anywhere in the New York Metro Area, and I am available from 10AM-7PM.
