Meet in front of the Guggenheim Museum, with veteran film critic Cole Smithey to stroll Carnegie Hill movie and historic locations along Museum Mile.

The worlds of film and fiction blur in America’s historically blue blood neighborhood where J.D. Salinger’s childhood home sits only a couple of blocks from Truman Capote’s apartment where he lived with his mother. You'll also get the inside scoop on what to see at Museum Mile's current art exhibits.

The 90 minute tour ($35 per person) meets at 12 noon Sunday through Friday in front of the Guggenheim Museum (at the corner of 88th and Fifth Avenue), and ends in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (at 83rd and Fifth). A minimum of two people are required.
