The newly combined organization is expected to present the brand globally, but deliver locally through multi-location creative services teams.The mission includes:. Developing creative briefs, which are based on marketing objectives and client segment insights from business and marketing partners.. Translating the briefs into the most compelling verbal and visual creative solutions across all media channels and targeting the appropriate client segments.. Bringing all areas of expertise to bear - including writing, editing, proofreading and design to deliver best in class creative execution.. Developing conceptual ideas and following through all elements of production to ensure highest standards of execution are met.. Developing a cohesive framework for making rational decisions what brand elements should be used consistently and globally across the J.P. Morgan brand and which elements can be tailored regionally.. Constantly innovating to deliver the most competitively differentiating presentation of the J.P. Morgan brand and staying up to date on how competitors progressing their brand.. Sharing best practices with other LOB partners to create an integrated J.P. Morgan brand experience and identifying efficiencies for the teams where possible (e.g. shared formats, shared templates).. Identifying opportunities to handle increase in demand, including selecting and managing a short-list of recommended vendors and preferred freelancers in each regionQualifications:PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSThe Head of Creative Services will be a seasoned, client-centric leader with a track record of developing exceptional creative and leading creative services teams who deliver high value to their clients. The successful candidate will have the ability to: . Be a critical leader in concept and strategic development for complex initiatives; willing to lead by example, as well as being able to motivate and inspire teams to deliver superb creative work under tight deadlines.. Balance creative, strategic and execution expertise and will have proven capability to influence direct reports, internal clients and other stakeholders.. Find new ways to present the brand most effectively. Create a dynamic culture where core knowledge and ownership of the different client segments exists and drives continuously improving how we create the appropriate messages to those segments.. Constantly seek new standards of delivery and leverage all digital channels for greater effectiveness of communication. This includes bringing insightful and fresh perspectives to help teams break through conventional messaging approaches used in the financial industry.. Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, continually evaluate his/her own personal performance and consistently set new standards, which others will want to follow.. Cultivate strong relationships throughout the organization that will foster innovative, bold and actionable thinking. In particular, builds strong partnerships with colleagues in the Corporate & Investment Bank's branding, sponsorship, digital and regional marketing functions.. Actively develop a network of external resources that can be accessed to provide new thinking or technology expertise to improve the effectiveness of delivery of marketing messages.Specific experience needed for the role includes:. Prefer 20 experience in agency/agency-type experience and highly skilled in design; as well as ability to directly produce complex/sophisticated designs.. Demonstrated ability of creating effective and innovative marketing and communications programs for leading financial services brands, service companies and/or client centric brands.. Deep knowledge of the investment banking business, various key financial client segments and competitor landscape.. Experience in successfully structuring and leading a creative services team, including identifying and developing talent, improving project management tools, monitoring client satisfaction and proactively identifying opportunities to improve the creative output of the team.. Thorough understanding of various digital and conventional production processes.. A track record of working effectively as part of a senior management team, while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.. Extensive C Level partnership and experience with associated executive presence; viewed by senior leadership as someone who is not only an expert at their craft, but a business partner whom others respect and trust.. Advertising experience is not required, but considered a plus.EDUCATIONAn undergraduate degree is required; graduate degree preferred.
