Position Objective: The Client Services Representative will provide operations support services to Registered Representatives, Agency staff, and their customers. They will be the point of contact to help facilitate all broker-dealer operations functions including; account set-up, retirement account regulations, cashiering, asset transfer, technology usage and other areas effecting the administration of their investments. Responsibilities: Phone Calls (inbound/outbound): Answer calls in a phone center environment. Provide account, product, regulatory, and procedural operating information to callers. Update callers on all industry developments. Act as liaison for all outbound communication. Provide day-to-day training to certain callers on how to process business with the broker-dealer. Perform special projects and assignments as required. Written Communication: Answer email, faxes and other written communication from Agency staff, and customers demonstrating a clear and professional writing style. Must possess knowledge of investment- Products mutual funds, variable annuities, stocks, bonds, REITS, IRAs, 403b, brokerage and subscription platforms. Processes new accounts, cashiering, periodic investment plans, IRA distribution rules, transfer of assets, and stock transfer. Systems NFS-StreetScape. Principal Accountabilities: Answer phone calls in a phone center environment. The calls with be on a wide array of investment subjects including; securities , new accounts, cashiering, periodic investment plans, IRA distribution rules, transfer of assets, etc. Answer email and faxes in an inbound call center environment. The written correspondence will be on the same subjects noted above. It does however require that ability to preview documents submitted for processing, email and fax forms, write professional business letters. Ad-Hoc Projects. As required by regulatory and operations needs. This includes breakpoint assessment, SEC 3-year letter, mutual fund market timing TYPE of projects that may similarly arise going forward. It also includes various reporting and account billing projects.  Qualifications: Skills and Knowledge: Competencies/Skills: Excellent telephone and written communication skills. Must be a good listener, have the ability to ask probing questions, present solutions to complex issues that arise. Need to be able to patiently explain procedures and concepts to callers at various levels of expertise.  Knowledge: Broker-Dealer Operations; account set-up, cashiering, transfer of assets, IRA distribution rules, mutual funds, variable annuities, industry regulations, systems and processes.  Education and Experience: Education: College degree or equivalent work experience required. Securities license preferred (Series 7 or 6). Life and Health License a plus. Will sponsor for licenses within 6 months of hire. Experience: 2-5 years of financial services operations or call center experience. Â
